We affectionately call our son “Mumu.” He truly has the kindest heart, just like a daughter to his mother, and a strong determination to support his family, just like a son should. In Japanese, the word for daughter is “musume” and for son, it’s “musuko.” That’s how we came up with the playful nickname “MuMu” – a blend of MUsume and MUsuko. Isn’t it a fun little twist?

Jajangmyeon or jjajangmyeon is a Korean Chinese noodle dish topped with a thick sauce made of chunjang, diced pork, and vegetables.
Soondubu is a jjigae in Korean cuisine. The dish is made with freshly curdled extra soft tofu which has not been strained and pressed, vegetables, sometimes mushrooms, onion, optional seafood, optional meat, and gochujang or gochugaru.
